is the engine still using the stock oil pump and oil pan. dry sump could help, also what oil is in the motor. maybe hevier oil could help.

Oil, do you over fill your shit? with wet sump stock f body pan, you need to run 1-2 quarts over fill. And if you got the old style f body GM pan, not the newer holley 302-1 hot rod pan with the relocated pick up tube, you should be running an improved racing oil pan baffle. I also have spun rod bearings and locked up my motors a couple times from boiling oil or sloshing oil lol. Or fuck all that and get an accusump on that cunt and never worry again. Imo, only retire the stallion when it cannot drive anymore. cars a legend, it deserves every spot light it can get itself into.
